Discover Beautiful Butterflies

The world-renowned Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory features over 2,000 colorful tropical butterflies floating freely among lush, exotic blossoms and greenery. Take a self-guided walking tour, beginning with a short, informative video presentation.

The Butterfly Conservatory is located on the grounds of the Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens, just ten minutes north of the Falls.

Over the Falls They Go

When you think of Niagara Falls, you may think of going over the waterfalls in a barrel. But do you know what it takes to do so and live to tell the tale? Since 1901 (and probably even earlier), 16 people have gone over the falls--the most recent in 2012. 11 have survived.
