Review

This is a nice motel to crash at if you are visiting the falls and don't want to shell out a ton for a view of the falls from your room.

The room was adequately sized and the bed comfy. The bathroom and towels were clean too.
Best part was the breakfast. They sufficiently stacked breakfast with Bagels, Muffins, Cereals, breads, jams etc. This was the first motel I found that does not try to skim on the breakfast.

Review

The hotel is older and the rooms are basic and not for someone looking for luxury, but it was very clean and quiet. We were very comfortable in our double queen room, which included a small refrigerator and microwave. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Although we didn't utilize it, the pool seemed small but clean and there was a small playground. Landscapers were busy the entire time we were there.

Review

My family and I stayed here on our vacation. We were at the hotel for three nights. We were very pleased with the rooms, very spacious (we were upstairs) even though the bathroom was very small. The beds were just awesome and very comfy. The staff were very friendly. The pool and the outside area was very clean. We were about 4 miles from the falls which was OK. The general location was not very appealing due to industry across the street from the hotel but we were not at the hotel the entire time anyway and the area was very quiet. The price was right and very affordable. If you are not interested in driving to the falls (about 10 minutes) there is a trolley that comes by the hotel every hour and runs until 12:00 midnight. Overall our stay was wonderful. We do plan to stay again.

Review

NOTE: there are 3 or 4 EconoLodge hotels in Niagara Falls NY, this is the one on 5919 Niagara Falls Boulevard, with the Falls-shaped fountain in front and the paper recycling plant across the street.

Went with a bunch of friends for a weekend event in Niagara Falls. This hotel was clean and the rooms looked brand new. The rooms are big, beds were excellent. No funky smells. The rooms were surprisingly soundproof; one of our friends had checked in and was waiting for people to show up - turns out he was next door to some more friends who were watching a playoff hockey game (hotel has Versus!) and he didn't know they were there.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. When we mentioned at breakfast that my roommate and I had forgotten toothpaste the desk clerk brought us a tube while we were there! It seems like a family business where some of the staff actually stays in an apartment upstairs from the lobby.

The lobby is nice, there's a little breakfast area on one side (we had bagels and cereal and juice, all just fine) and then the lobby area has souvenirs and brochures and a fish tank and turtle tank that was a big hit with the 2-year-old in our party.

There's also a little playground in the yard, and an outdoor pool that was well maintained although it wasn't swimming season.

Since we had several people staying, my friend called ahead and got a group rate - less than $50/night. We ended up with 8 rooms, all together.

There are a bunch of restaurants and other businesses within a mile on Niagara Falls Boulevard, we had no trouble finding a grocery store and gas and food and everything we needed. We did drive to the falls (American side) one afternoon, it's easy to get to and about 3 miles away.

I would absolutely stay here again. Best Econo-Lodge ever.

Review

I stayed at this hotel from June 22-24, the staff was great at check in even our housekeeper was nice, our room was clean and big (we traveled with 2 children). The pool was a nice size, it stayed open until midnight and it is heated. Even thought the was a lot of activity going on outside on the daytime we did no hear the noise in our room.  It's close to the falls (only 3 miles away), and very easy to get to. There's a lot of restaurants around, and the price is pretty good considering if you go to the hotels closest to the falls you'll probably pay double. Honestly, this hotel was very good for what I paid and great for kids, with the pool and game room.
